Big Fat Gratitude!

Dear fellow bloggers and lovely readers! (Yeah, I am not good with ‘catchy’ introductions, so bear with me guys!)

I hope you all are doing great. You guys must be wondering what this ‘thank you’ is about, right? Well, my blog’s follower count is increased and now I have 100+ followers. Yeah, no biggie or anything.

Who am I kidding? Of course, it’s a biggie! At least, for me.

Thanks A LOT guys! I couldn’t have done it without you. Your beautiful comments and support made me keep going when I was about to give up.

I used to think that I wasn’t cut-out for this whole blogging thing. I never would have imagined getting even 5 followers. I thought putting myself out here was a bad idea. But I wanted to give it a try, just to write for myself, not for an audience. I mean, there are so many talented writers here, who would want to read the poems and fictional stories from a new random blogger? But I guess I was wrong.

First step is always thorny, but if you don’t give up, everything falls into place after that.

I started writing for myself. But deep in my bones I still wasn’t sure about what I was doing. Often, I thought about giving up and stop wasting my time. But when I started getting likes and comments on my posts, I took it as a sign to keep going.

So, it has been a month and here I am with 100+ followers on my blog. I couldn’t thank you people enough. You poured your love and benevolence on my posts. If you wouldn’t have encouraged me with your comments and support, I don’t think this would have happened 👇

I don’t know what tomorrow holds. There are times when I don’t feel like writing or when my mind doesn’t feel like giving me any new ideas. Maybe, with time, I’ll get more and more skilled at writing. Maybe not. We can’t predict the future. Anything can happen. I get goose bumps when I think about giving up writing because of some reason. I bet, you got goose bumps too. But like I said, we can’t predict the future. So let’s live in the now. Let’s continue spreading love through our words. 😊😇😊😇
